Welcome to PEERAAN. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of peeraan.com (the “Site”) and any purchase you make from us. By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

In these Terms, “PEERAAN”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to PEERAAN (Peeraan Pret), and “you” refers to anyone who visits the Site or makes a purchase.

1. Using the Site

  • You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to place an order. If you are younger, you may use the Site only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
  • You agree to provide accurate, current and complete information when placing an order or creating an account, and to keep your account details secure.
  • You may not use the Site for any unlawful purpose, or in any way that could damage, disable or interfere with the Site or other users.

2. Our Products

  • Every PEERAAN piece is handmade and hand-embroidered in Pakistan. Small variations in embroidery, beadwork, color and placement are a natural part of handmade craftsmanship and are not defects.
  • We make every effort to display colors and details accurately, but the color you see depends on your screen and may differ slightly from the actual piece.
  • Many of our pieces are made in limited quantities. All products are subject to availability, and we may limit quantities or discontinue any product at any time.
  • Product descriptions show what is included with each piece. Styling items shown in photos, such as jewelry, footwear or accessories, are not included unless stated.

3. Prices and Currency

  • USA: prices are shown and charged in US Dollars (USD).
  • Pakistan: prices are shown and charged in Pakistani Rupees (PKR).
  • Prices may differ between markets and may change at any time without notice. The price that applies to your order is the price shown at checkout when you place it.
  • Shipping charges are shown at checkout before you confirm your order.
  • If a product is listed at an incorrect price because of an error, we may cancel the order and refund any amount paid, even after the order has been confirmed.

4. Orders

  • Placing an order is an offer to buy. Your order is accepted only when we confirm it or dispatch it.
  • We may refuse or cancel any order, including if a product is unavailable, if there is a pricing or product error, or if we suspect fraudulent or unauthorized activity. If we cancel a prepaid order, we will refund you in full.
  • You can cancel an order before it is dispatched by contacting us. Once an order has been dispatched, it can no longer be cancelled, and our Return & Refund Policy applies.

5. Payment

USA

  • We accept the payment methods shown at checkout, which may include credit and debit cards, Shop Pay and PayPal. Payment is taken when you place your order.
  • Payments are processed securely by our payment providers. We do not store your full card details.

Pakistan

  • We offer Cash on Delivery (COD) across Pakistan, along with the other payment methods shown at checkout.
  • Every Cash on Delivery order is confirmed by our team by WhatsApp or phone before dispatch. If we cannot reach you to confirm, we may hold or cancel the order.
  • Please keep the full order amount ready in cash at the time of delivery.
  • If a Cash on Delivery order is refused at delivery without a valid reason, we may require advance payment for future orders.

6. Shipping and Delivery

  • USA: orders are shipped within the United States. Shipping charges are shown at checkout.
  • Pakistan: orders are delivered nationwide, typically within 3 to 5 working days after confirmation, with a standard delivery charge of Rs 250.
  • Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed. Delays caused by couriers, weather, public holidays or other events outside our control do not entitle you to cancel an order or claim compensation.
  • Please check that your shipping address and phone number are correct. We are not responsible for orders delayed or lost because of incorrect details provided at checkout.
  • Ownership of, and risk in, the products passes to you on delivery.

7. Returns and Refunds

Returns, exchanges and refunds are governed by our Return & Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Please read it before placing an order.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site, including designs, photographs, product descriptions, logos, graphics and the PEERAAN name, belongs to PEERAAN or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute or use any of this content, including our designs and product images, without our prior written permission.

9. Reviews and Submissions

If you submit reviews, photos, comments or other content to the Site or to our social media, you confirm that the content is your own, is accurate and does not infringe anyone’s rights. You grant PEERAAN a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to use, reproduce and display that content in connection with our business. We may remove any content at our discretion.

10. Third-Party Services and Links

The Site may use or link to third-party services, such as payment providers, couriers and social media platforms. We are not responsible for the content, policies or practices of these third parties, and your use of their services is subject to their own terms.

11. Disclaimer

The Site and all products are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties, express or implied, beyond those stated in these Terms and our Return & Refund Policy. We do not guarantee that the Site will always be available, uninterrupted or free of errors.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PEERAAN will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from your use of the Site or any product. Our total liability for any claim relating to an order will not exceed the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under applicable consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold PEERAAN harmless from any claims, losses or expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Site.

14. Privacy

Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use your personal information.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. For customers in Pakistan, nothing in these Terms affects any rights you have under the consumer protection laws of Pakistan.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time by posting the revised version on this page. Changes apply to orders placed after the updated Terms are published. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the revised Terms.

For the client to confirm before this goes live:

  1. Governing law: I used Texas, since the store is registered there. Change it if the business is registered elsewhere, or if the client wants Pakistani orders governed by Pakistani law.
  2. Legal business name: I used “PEERAAN (Peeraan Pret)”. If there’s a registered company name (for example, an LLC), it should replace that in the opening section.
  3. Pakistan payment methods: the terms say Cash on Delivery plus the other methods shown at checkout, which matches the current setup where Pakistani customers can also pay by card.
  4. Privacy Policy: Section 14 refers to it, so the store needs one too. Shopify can generate a starting template under Settings → Policies, or I can write one in this same format.
