Jade Classic layers a cropped jacket over a clean kurta and wide-leg pants, all in deep emerald green, and puts most of its ornament on the jacket.
Design Details
The jacket is cut from jamawar, a fabric woven with its own pattern, here gold leaf motifs on deep green. It is short and open at the front, with a band collar and wide sleeves gathered softly at the shoulder, and every edge, from collar to front opening to hem, is framed in a gold border hand-embroidered in zari and dabka metallic threadwork, resham silk thread, beads and sequins. Along the front opening, small embellished bar motifs are placed at intervals, each ending in a fine drop, and at the center back a large paisley in the same work sits above a decorated hem border.
Beneath it, the shesha silk kurta is deliberately plain: a straight shape with a simple V-neckline, so the jacket can lead.
The wide-leg pants bring the detail back at the floor, with large paisley motifs in zari, dabka, resham, beads and sequins above a hem border scattered with small drop motifs that echo the jacket.
