Fuchsia pairs a vivid shade with quiet texture. The kurta, in tissue silk, is long and straight, falling below the knee over matching wide-leg pants, and its surface is scattered with tonal leaf sprigs embroidered in resham silk thread, each worked with small cut-out openings that add depth without adding color.
Design Details
The color comes in at the neck and wrists. A raised collar opens into a deep V-neckline, hand-embroidered with crystals, stones, beads, sequins and pearls in pink, green, blue and gold, and ends in a jeweled drop at the center front. The full sleeves gather into deep cuffs finished in the same jeweled work, so the detail reads like a pair of bracelets.
A sheer fuchsia organza dupatta completes the set. It is scattered with small gold embellishments and finished with a solid border, and it moves easily, whether worn over one shoulder or draped across the arms.
