Latte is PEERAAN at its most minimal. A warm golden beige in tussar silk with a soft sheen, it is cut as a short, straight kurta that ends at the upper thigh, with long sleeves and a clean back, worn over generously wide pants in the same fabric and shade.
Design Details
Color comes in through the trim alone. A narrow mandarin collar is edged in magenta and gold, and the same trim runs in an unbroken line down the center front, drawing a long vertical stripe through the neutral fabric. At the wrists, deep cuffs are hand-embroidered in beads and dabka, a coiled metallic thread, around a stylized leaf motif in magenta and red, so the detail shows every time you move your hands.
The wide-leg pants fall straight to the floor and finish at the hem with a fine border of small magenta and gold motifs that echoes the cuffs.
